Assessment is an important component of an educational program. At Aquin, we test students to measure attainment of curriculum goals. The results are used to plan for individual and group success.
For standardized testing, we use the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) in Grades 3, 5 and 7 and plan to utilize the new Aspire tests which are aligned with the ACT test taken by juniors for college admittance. Aquin does not use the PARCC test.
